Digitization of Ancient Aptera Castle using Drone

Digitization of the Castle of Ancient Aptera in the Great Fields of Chania, was carried out by the laboratory of Design, Machining & Automation of the Hellenic Mediterranean University in the framework of educational – research missions with the Drone at its disposal. More than 500 photos were taken with a large overlap between the photos. All necessary safety measures were taken for the flight so that there is no risk of an accident.
